Ridge Hills School is nestled within the vibrant New Seduase (Mensah Bar) community in the Kpone Katamanso Municipal of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. RHS was born from a shared vision of Robert and Vida, founders of the school. RHS was established in September 2018 as a private non-profit co-educational institution to provide child-oriented primary education that adapts to the evolving education landscape, anchored on faith in God Almighty and learning through play. This noble aspiration is not just personal but to support children of the Saduase community and its adjoining environs with high-quality primary education.
At Ridge Hills, we strive to offer standardised quality Pre-school, Primary and Junior High School (JHS) curricula that equip every child to read and write before age six, with critical thinking and a love for nature and humanity as our core school ideals. We aspire to provide our children with a safe learning environment. We also strive to appreciate and respect each child’s unique learning style and intellectual and physical growth pace. We offer continuous staff training that enables them to enjoy the child's interests and abilities, as we expect each child to leave our premises each day with a memorable daily experience.
Ridge Hills School is a zealous vision of two Ghanaians, Robert Kwame Dzogbenuku (PhD), and Vida Afia Pokuaa Dzogbenuku. Robert and Vida were trained over three decades ago at the Accra College of Education, Accra, and have spent most of their working lives as teachers, school supervisors, and managers. Vida, the headmistress of RHS, holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Education, Winneba, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from the University of Cape Coast. Until January 2023, she was the School Improvement and Support Office (SISO) and the Director of the Ghana Education Service of Adenta Municipal Office, Accra. On the other hand, Robert is a marketing lecturer at Central University, Miotso, Accra.
Management is always inspired to recruit qualified, experienced and highly-motivated individuals to fill various positions, a critical aspect of RHS values. These include trained Montessori teachers and holders of diplomas and degrees in education. Management can proudly attribute RHS's success to supervision and staff commitment.

Over the years, RHS has operated a time-tested early childhood curriculum anchored on the Standardised Montessori Philosophy, which enables our early childhood learners to read and write by age six. Our primary-level education accommodates Grades 1-6 pupils, ensuring each child receives the best education. At both the primary and JHS levels, RHS has a blend of the Ghana Education Service and the Oxford curricula. This robust curriculum for these levels offers primary and JHS learners an impeccable learning experience in mathematics, science, and English.
RHS constantly exposes students to extracurricular activities such as bi-weekly debates, quizzes, storytelling, and cultural displays to engender enthusiasm and passion for academic work. Notable events organised by RHS are Fruit Day, Egg Day, and Environment Day. Others include Girl Child Day, Civic Education Day, Mathematics Day, the Dr Kwame Nkrumah Day, and ICT Day. Recently, our students had the opportunity to visit Ghana’s National Museum at Adabraka, the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum in Accra, and the Aburi Botanical Gardens in the Eastern Region.
